SWASA™ Anti-pollution face Masks

In today’s time when our space has been invaded by a known Pandemic, we must be extra vigilant towards our health. Its most imperative is to maintain hygiene and keep oneself safeguarded from the pollutants in the air and viruses caused by breathing in small liquid droplets.

As per World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, “When someone coughs or sneezes, they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus, if the person coughing has the disease.” Additionally, “Droplets spread virus. By following, good respiratory hygiene, you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.”

These viruses can be transmitted through droplets or can attach themselves to tiny particles that one may breathe in- and one could be infected if they breathe in the droplet or a particle sneezed or coughed by an infected person. At this point its very important to remember that the Masks are very effective to capture droplets, which is considered as the primary transmission method of COVID-19.

SWASA masks are an ideal choice to combat the ongoing Pandemic and a companion to fight pollution. They are not only affordable but also provide low cost protection.

These masks have been tested and certified by CE mark and ISO mark and have the bacteria filtration efficiency of 99.9%. These masks are easier to breathe through them, are reusable, lightweight, comfortable, foldable and easy to carry around. These come with adjustable nose clips and a two-strap design to provide a custom fit with secure seal that reduces the potential for eyewear fogging.

SWASA masks are compliant to VFE, BFE and Delta P tests:

These masks are compliant to Viral Filtration Efficiency tests (VFE) which determines the filtration efficiency of the test particles.

These masks are compliant to Bacterial Filtration efficiency (BFE) and Differential pressure (Delta P).

The BFE test determines the filtration efficiency of test particles by comparing the bacterial control counts upstream of the test article to bacterial counts downstream.

The Delta P test determines the breathability of test particles by measuring the differential air pressure on either side of the test particle

Testing have been performed in compliance with US FDA good manufacturing practices (GMP) regulations.
